Judo was founded in Japan in 1882 by Dr. Jigorō Kanō as an eclectic martial art. Today it is one of the most prevalent sports across many countries and good form of self-defence.
Judo is being taught in our institute for the past 30 years under the able guidance of Sensai Shree Ravindra Patil, 7th Degree Black belt and the first Coach of Judo Federation of India. The Institute has produced many State, National and International Level Champions. Four players have won the prestigious ‘Shiv Chhatrapati Award’ and many are black-belt holders.
